I really enjoy the creme brulee one, the only thing I find difficult is the hard thick bits through it to chew, if they made it with the light shards that just coat the top that you have to gently crack to get to the dessert, that’d be more pleasant, those hard thick sugar bits through it were too hard for the mouth

Creme Brulee tasted eggy – I think that this is a product fault to be honest – based on some of the other comments. And the caramel ‘crunchy bits’ tasted burnt – I know how a true creme brulee has the sugar cooked on the top, but this was too much.
    Not nice at all

  4. Liz says:

    I tried the Creme brûlée.
I thought there was something wrong with it. I even checked the use by date but it was 2/18. Honestly thought the flavour was in between okay and gone off.
Gave it a second try and same. Sadly I threw it out. Please believe me when I say that I don’t make comments usually and will
Do if product is good or otherwise.

People, do what I did. Get in touch with the manufacturers and get a refund! If enough people do it they may get the message. It is disgusting, not even an ice cream as advertised, only ice confection!

  6. Rebecca says:

Crème brulee is foul. My mouth and throat got extremely itchy after eating it
My partners lips also were swollen. Some sort if allergic reaction. But we both agent allergic to anything!! Need buying anything BLUE RIBBON AGAIN!

  7. John says:

I’ve tried them all now. Can’t go wrong, the strawberry was probably my favourite but they’re all good. Well done Streets. Got onto this website to show a friend a picture of the ice cream I suggest they buy.

  8. Rachel says:

The Creme Brule was the worst ice cream i have ever eaten (and i thought i had never met an icecream i didn’t like). I gave in to my kids – despite being way above our usual budget for icecream and im fairly sure it will end up in the bin as nobody in our house will eat it. It tastes of raw egg and the flavours are terrible.

  9. Muhammad says:

Gelateria macadamia and vanilla is halal or not

  10. Christine Cooper says:

Very disappointed, vanilla & macadamia?? I think not! Chocolate totally overtakes both flavours (if in fact they are even there!) Can only be thankful that my trial of this product, was on special. Would have been better off to buy plain brand vanilla icecream & add my own macadamias. Never again trust a “trendy” new icecream!

  11. Jake says:

TERRIBLE. It is plastic no joke, who ever eats this and likes it NEEDS SUM MELK.

  12. Helen Walster says:

What a wonderful ADVERTISEMENT! What a disgusting tasting…whatever it is.
Caramel that does not taste anything like caramel, toffee that is yak and whatever the yellow stuff is..its vile. What a sad product to wear the Streets Blue Ribbon label and it appears to be made in FRANCE. So much for the good old Streets Aussy Ice cream…

  13. Avi says:

Bought this out of anticipation and tell you all……It’s horrible….smells like raw egg and tastes worst…..do not waste your money….0 *(stars)

  14. penny says:

I cant bring myself to try it, because I hate the add so much!!!!

  15. J H says:

Tried the chocolate one … totally disappointed. . Rest of it still sitting in freezer!

  16. Sharni says:

Cream brûlée one is honestly disgusting. Pretty sure they burnt the caramel.

  17. Bev McGrane says:

Gail, if you want a truly delicious ice cream, do as I did and buy an ice cream machine and make your own. You won’t regret it.

  18. stuart says:

Tried the new Creme brulee ice cream not even the kids would eat it, tastes nothing like the real thing just horrible, waste of 8 dollars.

  19. Jennifer says:

    The ad is a disgrace.
If parents are really like this, they don’t deserve kids.
What a selfish pair of b*******s.

  20. Thomas says:

Tried the chocolate….it is yuck!! Not even real ice cream. Very over priced for ice confection. Won’t be buying again!

  21. Pigleti says:

Tried the chocolate one. HORRIBLE! It’s not ice-cream it’s ice confection!! Never again.

  22. Michael says:

Tried the cafe brulee, it’s awful. Tastes like low fat with little sugar gems.

  23. Jan Osterman says:

    Hi
I’m hoping your new creme brûlée gelateria is gluten free. Is there somewhere I can check the ingredients before I buy some. Thank you.

  24. Gail Williams says:

l bought this new product because of the Strawberry flavour………did not like it at all…the strawberry was oh so artificial.Would not buy this one again. Can you tell me why it is extremely hard …or near on impossible to buy a full flavoured natural strawberry icecream….l mean there is no shortage of strawberries .Would be very interested to hear your response….thank you for your time.

    • kate says:

The only way you will ever find a full flavoured and natural tasting strawberry ice cream is to make your own. Then you will know what is in it and have total control of contents and flavour 🙂
