NEWS: Connoisseur Desserts – Panna Cottas and Mousses

New to the premium Connoisseur dessert brand, Fonterra have launched a new range of chilled desserts in the fridge.

Connoisseur Chilled Desserts are now available in the fridge, featuring Panna Cottas and Mousses available in 5 different varieties:

  • Belgian Chocolate Mousse
  • Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Apple & Pear
  • Chocolate Mousse with Salted Caramel
  • White Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse
  • Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Raspberry and Pomegranate
  • Belgian Chocolate Mousse with Peppermint

Each pack of chilled desserts include two individual servings, and retail for $4.00. They’re now available in supermarkets, including Coles, Woolworths and independent supermarkets.

    I Have had both the salted caramel and the vanilla bean panna cotta with apple pear and honey. The apple pear and honey sauce is amazing, it is a beautiful combination that works perfectly with the smooth creamy panna cotta.
    I noticed you’ve left off the belgian chocolate mousse with peppermint?

    Hi there. Just letting you know that this is a Fonterra product. The dairy dessert that is available in the chilled desserts section has no association with Peters from what I hear (apart from the name). Ice cream is Peters & Chilled desserts is Fonterra (confirmed on the packs). Not really sure how this can get through but it has. Hope this info has been of some assistance. Kind regards,

    I am a massive Connoisseur fan and couldn’t wait to get my hands on these decadent desserts. Thus far, I have tried the Chocolate Mousse with Salted Caramel and Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Raspberry and Pomegranate. In the first one, the chocolate mousse is delightful but there was not enough salt in the salted caramel sauce at the bottom. The panna cotta on the other is absolutely fantastic and I can’t fault with it at all.

    I have just bought and tried the chocolate mousse with salted caramel after seeing Connoisseur’s advertising this morning, couldn’t resist to hold on much longer. My after dinner trip down to my local Coles definitely didn’t disappoint me at all! The chocolate mousse is light, fluffy and rich, full of flavour, and every mouthful was a delight. Don’t forget to dig deep with your every spoon full as there is the not too sweet butterscotch sauce down the bottom, that just put more depth into the dessert.
    Now I cannot wait to try the rest of the collection and see whether they are just as good!
